Adworkshop Announces Contract Renewal with Greene County Tourism as Agency of Record

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY - On New Year’s Day, Adworkshop, a full-service marketing agency with offices in Lake Placid and Saratoga Springs, kicked off its’ seventh year as the Agency of Record for Greene County Tourism – a partnership renewed by the county legislature’s recent vote on November 20, 2018. 

The agency’s results-based initiatives on behalf of the tourism organization include creative campaign strategy, development and management of the county’s tourism website, www.GreatNorthernCatskills.com, email communications, broadcast and print production, social media management, influencer marketing, search marketing and paid advertising, as well as tracking of both monthly and annual performance analytics. 

On the cusp of what will be an exciting growth year for both Adworkshop and Greene County, the workshop’s approach to tech-driven solutions and passion for collaborating with clients to achieve better results for their brand opens the door to exciting content solutions that better connect travelers with the destination, according to Adworkshop Owner and President, Tim Kelleher. Innovative engagement tools will support Greene County’s communications efforts in 2019, while the region is experiencing an influx of popularity due to announcements such as Lonely Planet naming The Catskills, USA as a top 10 region to visit in their ‘Best In Travel’ roundup. 

“More than 20 percent of all employment in Greene County is sustained by visitors,” said Heather Bagshaw, Director of Tourism for Greene County and the Film in Greene Film Commission. “If we didn’t have the tourism economy we’ve worked so hard to build with Adworkshop over the past seven years, each household in the county would see a tax increase of $1,211. Continuing to market our area is imperative for the county’s economic success.”

In an effort to continue to boost the region’s economy, Adworkshop digs deep into its innovative tactics, advances in technology and immersive content development to connect consumers to everything the county has to offer.
