Adworkshop Honored for Adirondack Travel & Adventure Films in the 20th Annual Webby Awards


LAKE PLACID, NY - Adworkshop announced today that is has been honored by the 20th Annual Webby Awards for Best Online Film & Video: Travel & Adventure for its Real Adirondack Stories video series.

Real Adirondack Stories is one of only three Official Honorees in the Online Film & Video: Travel & Adventure category, earning the honor alongside the Travel Channel for its Jacked with Spirits video, and Publicis Seattle for its Sounds by the Sound video series.

Hailed as the “internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, the Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) is the leading international award honoring excellence on the internet. Real Adirondack Stories, produced on behalf of the Adirondack Regional Tourism Council, feature real people sharing their authentic Adirondack stories. 

In recognition of the exceptional quality of submissions submitted for Webby Awards, the IDAS decided to award outstanding entries as “Official Honorees” alongside nominees. This distinction is only awarded to the top 20% of all work entered, representing a remarkable achievement for the Adworkshop team. 

 “Honorees like Adworkshop are setting the standard for innovation and creativity on the internet,” said David-Michel Davies, Executive Director of the Webby Awards. “It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the nearly 13,000 entries we received this year.”
