Career Opportunities

Dig the smell of pine trees and six-inch powder mornings? How about leaving the office at 3 pm on summer Fridays? Or stepping onto the Jack Rabbit trail for a lunch-time power walk? If so, we want to hear from you.

Our headquarters are located in the Adirondack Park in Northern New York, the largest park in the lower 48.  Seriously. It's bigger than five National Parks combined. We also have a satellite office in Troy.  So we can move from wilderness to cityscape with ease.

When the weather's warm, you might find us catching rays out on the lakes, coaching our favorite youth sports, starring in local theatrical performances, or hiking the highest peaks in New York. A few of us are even Adirondack 46'ers or on our way to joining this coveted club.

Though, let it be said, we're all for grabbing a cold one at the local pub after a weekend adventure or day at the office.  We give thanks on payday with Beer (er, Beverage) Fridays. We like to celebrate, actually. We commemorate our employee-ownership model each October during national ESOP month. We have a Celebration Committee that plans and organizes year-round festivities—summer BBQ, holiday soiree, special work anniversaries. We rarely miss an opportunity to celebrate each other: the employee of the quarter earns a prime parking spot, nominated employees for “shout out” during team huddle get, well, a shout out and maybe a baseball cap, fancy pen, or whatever random gift we can find that morning.

In addition to competitive salaries, we offer employees a robust set of benefits. Of course you'll have paid time off. You'll also have access to health, vision and dental insurance and a flexible spending account. We offer a bonus incentive plan and two retirement options: the employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) and a 401K plan.

We’re based in Lake Placid, host of two Winter Olympic games. Naturally, we like winter. When the weather turns cold and we inhabit a real-life snow globe, we take advantage of our Six Inch Rule and head to Whiteface, our home mountain, to shred some powder for a few hours before coming into the office. How's that to start the workday?

Beyond the agency life and proximity to abundant outdoor recreation, you’ll find welcoming communities, excellent schools, quality healthcare and little to no traffic. All that makes for a sweet life and a cool place to work.
