Simpleview Integrates into Tourism Website Seamlessly

A striking redesign to the website and integration of a Customer Relationship Management tool boosts traffic to Corning and the Southern Finger Lakes website.

Business Challenge

A longstanding client, Steuben County Conference & Visitor’s Bureau (CVB) is responsible for promoting travel to Corning and the Southern Finger Lakes. In 2014, they came to us with a distinct challenge: combining separate mobile and desktop websites with two different content management systems into a newly branded website while at the same time integrating Simpleview, a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software tool.


We embraced our client’s challenges as our own, and created a striking adaptive website that embraced the CVB’s new branding.  Functionally, the website seamlessly integrates the Simpleview Application Programming Interface (API) with Drupal 7 framework – the stuff that comprises a website on the backend, to put it in layman’s terms. Simpleview is a powerful destination marketing tool that allows the CVB’s staff to manage lodging, attraction, dining, events, and other listings in one central location. The information is then pushed into the website using the Simpleview API at pre-established times throughout the day.
