Whiteface Mountain

Whiteface Mountain has heavy competition from Vermont ski areas with bigger budgets and better name recognition. However, Whiteface has an edge: they have the highest vertical drop in the East, and a vibrant mountain village in Lake Placid. We conveyed to boomer couples and skiing families that Whiteface is the "big mountain" surrounded by the Olympic venues in an authentic alpine resort community.

Gore Mountain Ski Resort

For this skiers destination, Adworkshop provides a fully integrated solution to showcase and promote the many highlights and benefits offered at Gore Mountain. Since working with Gore Mountain, their email database has gone from zero to over 43,000 in less than three years. In conjunction with our More Gore branding efforts, we have reached skiers and snowboard riders with a powerful message of value and fun that resonated with them. Our integrated approach ensures the messaging and branding is consistent, we reach the target audience and increase revenue by repeat and new customers. Most importantly, Gore Mountain had record attendance last season!

W.L. Gore & Associates is a $2.5 billion company which, for more than 50 years, has built a worldwide reputation for product leadership and integrity. Their revolutionary GORE-TEX® fabric, is waterproof to keep you dry, windproof to keep you warm and breathable to keep you comfortable – all day long. We created a co-branding partnership for W.L. Gore & Associates and the Adirondack Regional Tourism Council to tap into like-minded outdoor recreationists for the GORE-TEX® family of consumer products. A series of print ads have appeared in Adirondack fishing, hiking and boating travel guides. Online exposure includes featured listings on VisitAdirondacks.com recreational pages, sponsorship of an Adirondack weather report, cross-promotional support for the GORE-TEX® Experience More Challenge and e-newsletter sign-ups.
