North Country Savings Bank (NCSB) is a locally owned and operated independent bank with five branches located throughout the northern part of St. Lawrence County in New York State. NCSB has been serving the residents of St. Lawrence County for generations - offering outstanding customer service. Adworkshop collaborated with NCSB on a "Corporate Halo" campaign to feature the bank's services prominently to keep them top-of-mind when considering taking out a loan or mortgage.
The campaign focused on the benefits NCSB provides to its loan-holders, as well as their community-minded approach to banking. Our team produced two TV spots to speak specifically to the St. Lawrence County demographic, with particular emphasis on younger viewers. As a bank that has served area residents for generations, North Country Savings Bank has an aging customer base and wants to establish a connection to a younger demographic, a group that has many more banking choices than their parents' and grandparents' generations.
Each spot incorporated memorable and visually appealing images, chosen for their resonance with the target audience. "Big Wheels" is a 30-second spot featuring hip, original music sourced from a kazoo-playing artist we found on YouTube. The second spot, "Scream" lasted 15 seconds and was done in a retro, old-movie style to appeal across NCSB's target sectors. Both spots were developed to attract new, younger bankers, while still appealing to the bank's core customer group.
